Wow!! We are very excited to announce that we’ve surpassed our record proceeds (by a wide margin) from the annual RF Brett Memorial Golf tournament with a total of $18,452.30!! We would like to extend sincere thank you’s to everyone who participated and generously donated throughout the day. To our incredible sponsors, we couldn’t do this without you. We can’t thank you enough.

Proceeds from our events like this enable our Charitable Society to donate to many great causes. These include our longstanding firefighter charities like the BC Burn Fund and MD Canada. It has also given us the opportunity to keep funds local to support causes like the VJH Foundation, North Okanagan Hospice Society, BGC Okanagan, and the school lunch programs (just to name a few).

Thank you again to all that came out, and also to all of our off duty firefighters and their spouses for volunteering!! Looking forward to next year already.
