Started in 2015, the R.F. Brett Memorial Golf Tournament has grown tremendously. The tournament is held in June at the wonderful Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club. Many volunteer hours are accumulated, and the tournament wouldn't be the same without the extreme generosity of the businesses in the city of Vernon and the surrounding area.

The Vernon Professional Firefighters Charitable Society is very proud to be partnered with the Vernon Vipers. This partnership allows us to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at select Vipers games with the proceeds going to charities including North Okanagan Hospice Society and Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Come out and support the Vipers and support local charity!!

In November, our Charitable society will be hosting the 3rd annual pumpkin drop at Station 1. For a donation, we welcome kids 5 and up to go up into the hose tower and drop their pumpkins down to a target below. Sparky also likes to make an appearance in the Ladder Truck and drop large pumpkins from approximately 75 feet up.

Vernon Professional Firefighters raised more than $7000.00 while out in the community by "filling the boot". Thank you to the businesses that supported the cause and hosted us in front of their stores. And a BIG thank-you goes out to the community for your generosity. This has been a long-standing fundraiser that we look forward to every year.
